Lovely little getaway in the woods 😊
At the far corner of the property, The Outpost tree house nestles into the bush with glimpses of the ocean beyond.
Large glass windows and a side deck open the cabin to the trees, offering the sense of being deep in the forest while still connected to the sea.
The property features several unique structures spaced throughout the bush for maximum privacy.
The space
Fall asleep to the sound of waves and wake to morning bird song. Sip your morning coffee on the sun deck, enjoy a picnic on the lawn, and unwind in the beautiful outdoor hot water shower.
Tucked away in Whale Bay above the Indicators surf break, this magical spot is just far enough from Raglan to feel immersed in nature — yet only a 12-minute drive to town.
The north-facing land offers sweeping views of the Tasman Sea and coastline stretching toward Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. On clear nights, the Milky Way glows overhead while ruru calls echo through the trees.
Guest access
Common spaces on the property for guests include the toilet block, shower, sun deck and lawn area.
There is parking on the road for guests. With the property being outside of town, it is best to plan to come by car.
