One of our favourite AirBnBs to date! Loved the forest cabin - we were having a whistlestop night in Raglan and Tanya’s place was perfect although we wish we could’ve stayed longer… next time! The space had everything we needed, was super clean, comfy bed and tucked away in the forest which made it even more special. The outdoor shower was a highlight too! Thanks again Tanya & Tom - we’ll be back 😊

thankyou for a beautiful stay, we actually cancelled our plans in Raglan so that we could hang out together at the cabin. as busy parents it was the perfect getaway to rest and reset. the cabin was perfectly clean and private, the fairy lights and forest were magical and the views from the platform were spectacular, you have a very beautiful place!!

Such a little forest paradise escape. I especially loved waking up to the sound of the echoing tuis through the valley with the sea in the distance. Highly reccomend 🙂

This place was amazing, it was the best waking up in the forest and the bed was really comfy. We loved meeting Astra the dog who was very friendly and the toilets and outdoor shower were very scenic! Super easy to get to and it feels private as you have your own little space. Would definitely recommend this to anyone exploring Raglan who loves being in nature.

The forest cabin was a beautiful place to stay. I don’t think the photos do it justice - it’s even nicer in real life. We liked that it was tucked away from the other accomodation on the property, that you could see the trees from bed and wake up with the light and bird noise, and the fairy lights were a nice touch. The outdoor shower was also very cool. Would definitely recommend to others.

A perfect little reset from the noise of everyday life. Peaceful atmosphere, beautiful space, and truly 100% recommended. Astra the dog is the highlight of our stay✨

I had the most wonderful stay at Tanya and Tom’s Outpost Cabin. It had such a cosy, peaceful feel, beautifully built with lovely fairy lights, amazing starry skies, surrounded by greenery, with views of the ocean. Tanya was always quick to respond and had the room ready for us early. Even with three other cabins on the premises, each spot felt private and nicely spaced apart. I would absolutely love to stay here again!

My husband and I are doing a roadtrip around NZ and stopped in Raglan for a few days to surf. We loved our stay in the Outpost. It was peaceful, comfortable, and just beautiful. Tanya, Tom and Astra were excellent hosts. Felt right at home.

Highly recommend this place. It’s unique, peaceful, stunning views, friendly hosts and a short drive into Raglan and accessible for all the walks and trails close by. This was one of our favourite places while we toured around NZ and I’d love to return here.

An absolutely beautiful location. So secret and private. I would stay here for the outdoor shower alone. What a great idea and wonderful experience. Highly recommend! The Cabin had everything you could need and more!

We stayed at Tanya’s amazing Kowhai property for two nights as part of a weekend trip from Tauranga. We absolutely loved the quietness, charm and seclusion of the whole Totara Enclave. It was so restful with very easy access to both the Raglan township and beautiful Manu Bay. Tanya was a super communicator and host throughout. Would highly recommend!

Very private, peaceful, quiet location with amazing ocean views! Tanya’s place was very clean, only a 5-10min drive into town, had lots of parking, and had an awesome outdoor shower. Highly recommend!

This is such a special spot and I think one of my new favourite places to stay. Tanya was an absolutely brilliant host - I accidentally booked a day earlier and within minutes of messaging, Tanya was on the phone helping me out. I decided to stick to my booked dates and Tanya did the fastest turnaround (it was a same day booking). So friendly and accommodating and kept me at ease. The space is gorgeous - super cosy and clean and the fairy lights make it feel like a true hideaway. The view is magical - especially lying in bed with your coffee. I was a bit nervous about having to walk to the separate bathrooms but honestly it was no hassle at all and the outdoor shower was one of my favourite parts - especially if you opt for a nighttime shower under the stars. I was travelling alone and felt super safe the whole time but also had my privacy. So grateful for my time here and can't wait to come back!

It was a blast. Incredible place with a view you only can dream of. Nature feeling in a comfortable wonderful little house. What more could you want? We loved it.

Me and my partner absolutely loved our stay at this tiny home! Was so cozy inside with such a great view of the bush and the beach. Loft bed was super cute. Made for such a relaxing stay. The outdoor shower area was such a cool feature if you don't mind walking back to your room in your towel! Will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Raglan.

An excellent stay with Tanya in Kauri. We enjoyed 2 nights with a lovely sea view and a great outdoor shower. The place was well equipped with everything we needed. I would highly recommend. 🙂

This is a beautiful place to stay! It is off the beaten trail, but is close enough to town to find anything you’d like! Everything there, and nearby was visually stunning, whether it was taking in the sunset out Te Toto Gorge, or taking a short drive to the nearby Bridal Veil Falls! Astra, their friendly dog stopped by on several occasions for some pets, and to make sure we were doing alright! Also, taking a shower under the stars was a great relaxing thing to do right before bedtime! Loved this stay, and highly recommend it!!
